What is Vajra pride?

Sometimes I notice that Buddhists use the term „Vajra Pride“ to justify their concept of one Buddhist lineage or school being superior or better compared to another one. In the following a nice quote on this misinterpretation of the term Vajra Pride:

„Vajra pride does not mean pride from the point of view of thinking with conceit that one is greater than others. That is ordinary pride. Rather Vajra pride recognizes that one indeed embodies all the perfect qualities of the perfect deity naturally and inherently. This is called stability of Vajra pride.“

From the Book „Buddhist Fasting Practice“ by Wangchen Rinpoche. In fact one of my all time favorites and one of the view most precious books I ever read.
